Announcement

The last nine newly uploaded light novels, and possibly the forthcoming ones, will not include redesigned covers or colored illustrations as is customary. I am responsible for redrawing the covers and the images in the 'Illustrations' chapter, being the leader of the Scanlation. However, this month I have been heavily occupied with university and other commitments, so to prevent delays, the novels will be released in their current form. In January, when I expect to have more free time, I will undertake the redraws and prepare the epubs. Thank you for your understanding, and I regret any inconvenience caused. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and joyful holidays.

Afterword

Nice to meet you. I’m Skyfarm.

Thank you so much for picking up my humble work this time around.

Tsunderes are great, aren’t they?

I think the beautiful girls in stories, with all their tsun moments, make you imagine the dere that’s waiting just around the corner. Even when they’re being prickly, they’re ridiculously cute—it’s an unfairly charming existence, if you ask me.

I wonder if I managed to pull off that sly cuteness properly.

This work originally started as a serialized story on a novel submission site.

Back then, no matter what I wrote, it barely got any attention and just sank into obscurity. This was the first piece that actually climbed the rankings and got noticed.

I was thrilled at first, but then I remember nervously updating it, wondering, “Is this really okay…?”

Later, it won the Special Award in the Romantic Comedy Category at the 5th Kakuyomu Web Novel Contest, which brings us to now. The schedule from winning to publication was so fast it shocked even me. When I first got the call and heard the timeline, I was panicking, thinking, “Can we actually make this work?” But if you’re reading this, it means we pulled it off.

Phew, what a relief.

Lastly, I want to thank Kuzumachi Aoru-sama, who handled the illustrations. Your absolutely wonderful artwork truly breathed life into the story. I’ll keep working hard to give each character more chances to shine.

Also, to my editor Kobayashi-sama and everyone else involved, thank you so much.

And to all of you who picked up this book, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I truly hope we’ll meet again.

Skyfarm
