Epilogue
When I open my eyes, a familiar scene unfolds before me.
An unremarkable dungeon.
Being here means that, just like my previous deaths and resets, I’ve returned to the moment right after we were transported into Katarov Dungeon with the Hero’s party.
“Starting from scratch, huh…”
The thought makes me gloomy.
All the bonds I built with Nyau have been reset.
Right now, Nyau’s affection toward me is probably close to zero, if not completely.
Still, considering I’ve returned to a point before Hero Eligion’s death, there might be a sliver of hope.
In the last timeline, I learned the hard way how difficult it is to defeat Demon King Zoga without Eligion’s power.
Neither Great Sage Agripus nor Sage Nyau could stand up to Zoga.
First, I need to make sure Eligion doesn’t die.
Having repeated this cycle countless times, I have more than enough experience. If I use it well, I should be able to avoid the world’s doomed fate this time.
With that resolve, I take a step forward.
In that instant, something unexpected happens.
Something that never occurred in any of the previous timelines.
I hadn’t anticipated this in the slightest, and it hits me with a massive shock.
But at the same time, I recall that something like this has happened a few times before.
That’s right.
The girl named Ageha always appears out of nowhere.
“Ahhh, I finally managed to interfere with the event.”
She mutters in a languid tone.
Suddenly, Ageha appears before me.
Maybe because I’ve been searching for her for so long, a wave of joy surges within me.
But I quickly remember that she’s dangerous and caution myself to be careful.
Which one is she…?
I don’t know the details, but it seems there are two Agehas.
One is the gentle, mild-mannered Ageha.
The other is always consumed by rage. I’ve privately nicknamed the latter Black Ageha.
“So, why are you here? That’s weird, right?”
She says, fixing me with a sharp glare.
Her gaze tells me this is Black Ageha.
“Uh, well…”
The moment I open my mouth to answer her question—
“You smell like another woman.”
She mutters under her breath.
It’s obvious she’s talking about Nyau.
“Made another girlfriend, huh?”
She says with a creepy smirk.
“Uh… well…”
Overwhelmed by Black Ageha’s intimidating presence, I can’t find any words.
No matter what I say, it’ll probably make her angry.
“How about you die once?”
She’s smiling, but her eyes aren’t.
Looks like I’m about to die.
The moment I think that, she stabs me with her sword.
